This update, identified as build number 22A3370, is expected to resolve touchscreen issues seen in older models starting with the iPhone 16 series. It is also aimed at addressing usage problems in some M4 chip-equipped iPad Pro models. The update is also said to contain new security patches. Although the release date of the iOS 18.0.1 version has not yet been finalized, the beta phase is ongoing. The update will bring new ‘Apple Intelligence‘ features for iPhone. These features include advanced writing tools and notification summaries. However, these new features will only be available on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPhone 16 models. Apple aims to enhance user experience and rapidly resolve existing issues with this update.
