One day before the Microsoft developer conference Built, Microsoft made an important announcement that brings a breath of fresh air to the technology world. The company introduced a new line of computers powered by artificial intelligence technologies called‘Copilot Plus PC‘. These devices are specifically designed to be fully compatible with the Windows 11 operating system.

Features of the Copilot Plus PC Series

The Copilot Plus PC series aims to integrate Microsoft’s innovations in artificial intelligence into users’ daily lives. These computers will be manufactured by major brands such as Dell, Lenovo, Samsung, HP, Acer and ASUS. Microsoft’s own Surface devices will also be part of this lineup. New devices will be able to work smarter and more autonomously thanks to built-in NPU (Neural Processing Unit) chips that eliminate cloud dependency.

With the Recall feature, you will be able to repeat the operations you did on the computer

The‘Recall‘ feature will enable artificial intelligence to remember what you do on the computer. With this feature, which will be integrated into Windows 11, users will be able to easily recall their actions. Recall will be able to record your activities on apps, meeting information and web browsing.

Microsoft also claims that the Copilot Plus PC is 58% faster than Apple’s MacBook Airs with the M3 processor. The new laptops will offer all-day battery life and 15 hours of web browsing. However, it is not yet clear whether these features will be available on all Copilot Plus PC models or only on Surface devices.

Development of the Copilot Chat Bot

In addition, Microsoft’s chatbot Copilot has been updated with the GPT-4o model from OpenAI. This update will improve the user experience by enhancing Copilot’s voice, text and visual processing capabilities. Copilot can now even help in games. For example, when playing Minecraft, Copilot will be able to see the player’s screen and make strategic suggestions.

Windows 11 and Copilot Integration

Finally, Microsoft announced more Copilot integration in Windows 11. New features such as the Settings menu, File Explorer and automatic responses to notifications will be available. Adobe and many other third-party applications will also be integrated into Copilot Plus computers, allowing users to work more efficiently.

These innovations show how Microsoft aims to be a leader in AI. The Copilot Plus PC series promises to make computing more interactive and efficient by combining both advanced technology and user-friendly interfaces.
