Qualcomm’s yet-to-be-officially announced new processor, Snapdragon 8 Elite, has made a significant impact in the tech world. In AnTuTu tests conducted on the Realme GT 7 Pro model, this processor outperformed its competitors and demonstrated superior performance. Snapdragon 8 Elite scored a total of 3,025,991 points during the test, nearly doubling the 1,651,728 points of Apple’s A18 Pro processor used in the iPhone 16 Pro Max model. This result was seen as an indicator of Qualcomm’s innovations in processor technology.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Tops the AnTuTu Evaluation Results
Snapdragon 8 Elite not only achieved impressive results in AnTuTu tests but also in Geekbench tests. During the Geekbench 6 tests conducted on the OnePlus 13 model, the processor scored 3,216 in the single-core test and 10,051 in the multi-core test. These results indicate that the processor can offer high efficiency in both multi-core and single-core performances. However, Apple’s A18 Pro processor outperformed Snapdragon 8 Elite in the single-core test with a score of 3,358, but fell behind in the multi-core test with a score of 8,184.
The Realme GT 7 Pro model is also equipped with features such as a 6.78-inch BOE OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 6,000 mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging, and a 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera. With these features, the phone aims to win user approval with its high performance. The release of Qualcomm’s new processor is expected to further intensify competition in the smartphone market.
