Samsung continues its innovations in the technology world. The South Korean tech giant will introduce the ‘Galaxy Ring‘ smart ring, a standout among its new products at the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for July 10. This new device aims to attract users particularly with its health tracking features.
Health Tracking Features of the Galaxy Ring
Android Authority team’s analysis of the codes of the Samsung Health app revealed that the Galaxy Ring contains many beneficial health-related features. The smart ring will be able to measure heart rate and stress levels. Additionally, the device’s capacity to perform stress and heart rate tests will allow users to better monitor their health status.
According to screenshots, the Galaxy Ring will also offer features such as menstrual tracking and body temperature measurement. An interesting feature is that the ring will have the ability to monitor snoring; however, this feature will need to be activated when the user’s phone is nearby.
While Samsung‘s new smart ring appears to have similar features to smartwatches, it could differentiate itself with its portability and ease of use. The Galaxy Unpacked event will be a much-anticipated time to see what other innovations Samsung will introduce this product with.
