Tesla’s long-awaited electric truck, the Cybertruck, was involved in two accidents shortly after deliveries began in Mexico. These incidents have led to serious debates about the vehicle’s safety. The first major accident occurred in Guadalajara. After a Cybertruck overturned, the 18-year-old woman driving it was ejected from the vehicle and seriously injured. The other three passengers in the vehicle were rescued by fire crews using hydraulic equipment. The ages of these passengers were 17, 19, and 60, highlighting the severity of the accident.

Discussions on Cybertruck’s Safety

Another accident occurred when a 23-year-old driver crashed into a parked truck and a house door. Fortunately, no one was injured in this incident. However, these two accidents raise questions about Tesla’s claims of durability and safety.

Mexico became the first country outside the USA where the Cybertruck was offered for sale. Deliveries began on September 25. These vehicles, which are not yet available for sale in our country, seem to require more information on safe usage. Since the control and features of electric vehicles differ from traditional vehicles, it may take time for users to adapt to these new-generation vehicles.
