Apple announces its new technologies and software updates at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). One of the most notable innovations at this year’s conference was the artificial intelligence technology named ‘Apple Intelligence‘. This technology has been designed to be exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models. The other iPhone 15 models will not be able to use these features because they do not have sufficient RAM capacity. The 6 GB RAM available in the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models is insufficient for artificial intelligence functions. This situation has caused disappointment among users who have the latest iPhone models but cannot benefit from these new features.

Apple Intelligence and RAM Requirements

According to Mark Gurman, the Apple Intelligence features require at least 8 GB of RAM. This requirement is only met in the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models. Gurman states that Apple plans to include at least 8 GB of RAM in all models of next year’s iPhone 16 series and will use it as a marketing strategy. While this news may please Android users (😉), it could lead to disappointment among some Apple users. Whether the company can achieve the success it desires in the market with its artificial intelligence features remains to be seen. Whether Apple will offer this technology to a broader audience in the coming years will be revealed in time.
