Asus’s eagerly awaited new smartphone series ROG Phone 9 will be introduced to the tech world on November 19th. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, this series had its design leaked earlier. Announced at the Snapdragon Summit, ROG Phone 9 is now being presented to tech enthusiasts with all its details.

ROG Phone 9 features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED HDR display, notable for its LTPO technology which allows a variable refresh rate from 1-120Hz, reaching up to 185Hz in gaming mode and offering a brightness of 2500 nits. According to Qualcomm, the device’s processor will operate at 4.1GHz instead of 4.3GHz, making it more efficient compared to previous models.
ROG Phone 9 and its higher model ROG Phone 9 Pro offer respectively 12GB, 16GB, and 24GB RAM options along with 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage capacities. The phones run on Android 15 and ROG UI and also support dual SIM cards. The front camera has a resolution of 32MP, while the rear camera features a 50MP main sensor, 13MP ultra-wide angle, and 5MP macro lens (ROG 9), and the ROG Phone 9 Pro model promises a superior photography experience with a 32MP 3x telephoto sensor.
In terms of sound quality, ROG Phone 9 is equipped with dual speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack, and is resistant to water and dust with an IP68 certification. Its 5800mAh battery supports 65W HyperCharge fast charging technology. It also features a 15W Qi wireless charging capability.
