From one of the prestigious brands in the automobile world, Porsche, comes the new version of the 911 model, eagerly awaited by car enthusiasts. The updated Porsche 911, especially with its hybrid engine option, is quite impressive. Although this new series, referred to as the 992nd generation, does not seem to make a big revolution in design, it stands out with its performance improvements.

Introducing the Hybrid Porsche 911

For the 2025 model year, Porsche has added the first hybrid version to the 911 series. The Carrera GTS T-Hybrid features a 3.6-liter hybrid engine, which is a 0.6-liter increase over the previous models. The electric motor is integrated between the compressor and turbines, producing 478 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque. With the electric motor in operation, the total power reaches 541 horsepower, and the torque goes up to 610 Nm. This powerful structure enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds, with a top speed set at 312 km/h.

The weight of the new hybrid 911 has increased by 50 kilograms compared to the previous model, totaling 1,595 kilograms. This increase is quite reasonable considering the addition of hybrid technology. There are also innovations in the interior; a fully digitalized interior features a 12.6-inch display panel and is equipped with a 10.9-inch infotainment screen. Additionally, the car is started with a push button, as in the Porsche Taycan model, instead of a traditional key.

Model Options and Prices

The Carrera GTS T-Hybrid model is available in both coupe and cabriolet versions, with both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive options. The starting price in the United States is set at $164,000.

Additionally, Porsche has introduced the Turbo model producing 572 horsepower, the Turbo S with 640 horsepower, and the GT3 RS with 518 horsepower in the new 911 series. While there are no major changes among these models, the new Carrera model, which produces 388 horsepower and has a price tag of $120,000, is also noteworthy.
