Intel has been at the center of criticism recently due to instability and crashing issues with its 13th and 14th generation Core processors. These problems particularly affect mid and high-end processors consuming 65W and above. Intel plans to implement microcode updates to address these issues, but these updates will not provide a definitive solution for the processors currently experiencing problems. Therefore, Intel is offering replacements for these processors to its users.

In response to the criticisms regarding these issues, Intel has taken a further step by extending the warranty period of the 13th and 14th generation Core processors by an additional two years, making it a total of five years. This decision demonstrates the company’s confidence and support for consumers using these processor series. According to the company’s statement, this extended warranty period is currently only valid abroad; the situation in Turkey has not yet been clarified.

Intel’s move aims to increase customer satisfaction and re-establish brand reliability. The company also notes that it will share more details about 13th and 14th generation desktop processors in the coming days. This development can be considered positive news for Intel customers.
