Volkswagen has been producing the Atlas model since 2017, specifically for the North American and Chinese markets. The new model will be known as Teramont Pro in China and will be officially introduced in 2025. The first images were shared through the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, giving an idea about the new design of the car. The new Atlas looks more modern and sporty compared to the previous model. The white version, in particular, stands out with its larger and more dynamic lines.

The new Teramont Pro’s dimensions differ from the current Atlas model. It will be 5.15 meters long, 1.98 meters wide, and 1.78 meters high, weighing approximately 2100 kg, with a body that is 5 cm longer. The vehicle will have a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 268 horsepower. It will also be equipped with an all-wheel-drive system, promising impressive performance.

The Teramont Pro, set to be launched in China in 2025, is expected to be introduced in the North American market under the name Atlas in 2026. This new model will further solidify Volkswagen’s presence in the SUV category, aiming to meet users’ expectations by combining technology and design.
