Chery continues its rapid rise in the automotive sector. In the January-September period of this year, it achieved a 39.9% increase with 1,752,793 vehicles sold, compared to the same period last year. Moreover, these sales covered 93% of last year’s total and increased its exports by 25.4%, selling 829,353 vehicles in just this period.
Chery’s success is supported by intense production activities at its factories in Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Brazil, China, and Egypt. A celebration event was held at the company’s Wuhu production facility where the 15 millionth vehicle, the TIGGO 8, was rolled off the line.
Operates in More Than 100 Countries
Since producing its first vehicle in 1999, Chery has made rapid progress, holding the title of China’s largest passenger car exporter for 21 consecutive years. The company operates in more than 100 countries and continues to produce vehicles with both internal combustion engines and new generation energy sources. The rapid rise of the company is even more meaningful as it reached 15 million vehicles in just 25 years, which can be considered a short span in the industry. Its future strategies and innovative steps are already a subject of curiosity.
