Taiwan-based technology company ASUS recently unveiled its new handheld console called ‘ROG Ally X’ at an event. The ROG Ally X is an upgraded version of the previously released ‘ROG Ally’ model and aims to offer a superior experience to technology enthusiasts.

ROG Ally X is especially notable for its Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor based on AMD’s 4 nm manufacturing technology. This 8-core processor offers a processing capacity of up to 5.1 GHz, while the graphics unit is based on the 12-core RDNA 3 architecture. According to ASUS, this new console will offer 8.6 TFLOPS graphics performance to meet the expectations of gamers.

The innovations are not limited to the processor and graphics unit. ASUS aims to keep the high performance of the device at an optimum level with the cooling technology developed in the ROG Ally X model. The battery capacity of the device has also been increased by 30-40% compared to the previous model. With these improvements, users will be able to get up to double the playtime of the previous model. In the storage area NVMe M.2 SSD Technically, up to 8TB of storage capacity is offered using.

Although details about the design and size are not yet clear, it is expected to have a 7-inch FHD display and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This display will also be equipped with a peak brightness of 500 nits. ASUS plans to reveal more details about the ROG Ally X at an event on June 2nd.
