One of the world’s leading cryptocurrency platforms, Binance has announced it has surpassed a significant milestone in user count. According to posts on its social media accounts, the number of users has exceeded the 200 million mark. With this momentum, Binance has set a new goal: 1 billion users.
In 2022, Binance had 130 million users and gained a total of 70 million new users over the last two years. With 40 million new users joining the platform throughout 2023 and an additional 30 million new users in the first half of 2024, Binance continues to reinforce its leadership in the cryptocurrency sector.
Global Cryptocurrency User Count Status
According to research by Triple-A, approximately 562 million people worldwide are investing in cryptocurrency. About 200 million of these users, or 36%, are using the Binance platform. Moreover, another study in March found that there is a total of $100 billion in cryptocurrency investments on Binance. This indicates that the average user on the platform has a balance of about $500.
The rapid growth of Binance demonstrates that interest in the cryptocurrency market continues to rise and users are turning to reliable platforms.
