ChatGPT’s Desktop App
Mira Murati, OpenAI’s CTO, gave an update on the future of ChatGPT’s desktop application and confirmed that a desktop version will soon be available for Mac users. Murati stated that this application will provide quick access with keyboard shortcuts and interactive chat via screenshots.
The app will initially only be accessible to Plus subscribers, with wider availability to be rolled out in the coming weeks. It was also announced that interface improvements will be made for the web version. OpenAI plans to offer the application for Windows users in the future, but no clear date has been given yet.
