The excitement in Formula 1 continues right where it left off after the summer break. The 15th leg of the season takes place at the historic Zandvoort track in the Dutch Grand Prix. In the qualifying rounds this weekend, McLaren driver Lando Norris left all competitors behind and won the pole position. This result was a big surprise for the home driver Max Verstappen and his large fan group ‘Orange Army’.

This success of Norris became even more notable due to Williams driver Logan Sergeant’s crash preventing him from participating in the qualifying rounds and other drivers being eliminated early. Among those eliminated in the first session were Ricciardo, Ocon, Bottas, and Zhou Guanyu, while in the second session Sainz, Hamilton, Tsunoda, Hulkenberg, and Magnussen were out of the race.
Starting in pole position on race day, Norris will be joined by home driver and championship favorite Max Verstappen. The second row will host Piastri and Russell. Perez in the fifth position and Leclerc in the sixth will battle for a podium finish. The remaining names completing the top ten are Alonso, Albon, Stroll, and Gasly.
The Dutch Grand Prix starts tomorrow at 16:00 TSI and all eyes will be turned to the Zandvoort track in this important leg of the season. This race could significantly affect the course of the championship race.
