The video sharing platform YouTube, used by millions worldwide, encountered an unexpected issue last night. Users noticed that the like icon beneath the videos had disappeared. Normally, the thumbs-up icon next to the number of likes suddenly vanished; only the dislike button remained visible.
Issue Resolved
YouTube stated that the issue occurred only on the web version and there were no problems with the mobile version. Google and YouTube were aware of the issue and worked on it. The technical team resolved the issue in a short time and restored the like icon to its original state. Users can now use the like button without any issues. The reason for the issue has not yet been explained.
