Hyundai Initium:
Hyundai introduced the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle Initium, which it plans to launch in the first half of 2025. Standing out with the new design language ‘Art of Steel’, Initium attracts attention by offering a range of approximately 650 kilometers with a single tank. Offering a higher range than the current Nexo model, Initium provides a significant performance improvement by delivering 40 more horsepower than its predecessor with its 201 horsepower electric motor.
In the exterior design of Initium, the black plastic-coated bulging fenders, 21-inch aerodynamic wheels, and built-in lights with HTWO motif draw attention. Although Hyundai has not yet shown the interior of the vehicle, it emphasizes passenger comfort with a wide rear seat sitting area and wide-opening doors. In terms of safety, Initium is equipped with nine airbags and a multi-skeleton structure.
Initium’s Electricity Supplying Feature
Thanks to its V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) feature, Initium can also be used as a power source for electric devices. The vehicle will be publicly introduced at the Los Angeles Auto Show and Auto Guangzhou in November and will be available for sale next year. Initium serves as a preview of Hyundai’s future models.
