The recall covers Model 3, Model S, Model X produced between 2021-2024 and Model Y series vehicles produced between 2020-2024. The solution to the problem will be provided through a software update. This update will allow vehicle owners to avoid keeping their vehicles in service for a long time and will not require any part replacement. Tesla’s step demonstrates their commitment to ensuring customer safety and resolving issues quickly.

Tesla had conducted similar recalls in the past months due to similar issues. In December, it had recalled vehicles from the Cybertruck series due to an issue with the windshield wiper. This has been Tesla’s 23rd major recall to date. Tesla continually performs software updates and technical checks to provide a safer and smoother driving experience for its customers.
