WWDC, Apple‘s annual developer conference, is also on the agenda this year with innovations that the technology world is eagerly waiting for. The iOS 10 operating system is expected to be introduced at the event, which will start on June 2024, 18. This update is described as one of the biggest iPhone updates in history and promises innovative features based on artificial intelligence. Another innovation that will be introduced to users with the new version will be new emojis.

7 Different New Emoji Coming

New Emojis Coming to iPhones with iOS 18

With the latest updates made by the Unicode Consortium, 7 new emoji expected to be added to iOS 18 will be presented to users. These include a face with bags under the eyes, a fingerprint, a leafless tree, a root vegetable, a harp, a shovel and a slime-like emoji. These emojis will allow users to express their emotions on various social media platforms and in daily messaging.

When Will New Emojis Arrive?

However, Apple is not expected to offer these emojis in the first version of iOS 18. Looking at the company’s past practices, new emojis are usually rolled out with an update a few months after the initial release of the operating system. Therefore, it seems likely that the new emojis that will be available with iOS 18 will come with an update in late 2024 or early 2025. The earliest date could be the iOS 18.4 update, expected in March 2025.

These developments show how Apple is constantly improving the user experience and shaping the world of technology. WWDC 2024 will be the stage for exciting innovations for both developers and technology enthusiasts.
